Sharrod Williams is multi-hyphenate based in New York City. He grew up in Newark, New Jersey also known as“Brick City”. Sharrod has always been a go-getter with a love for the arts and education passed down from his loving parents. He is a proud graduate of Montclair State University with a dual major in Dance and Communication Studies.

Sharrod’s path has led him to appear On-Stage and Screen. His favorite credits include Broadway: TuckEverlasting, CATS, and Hamilton: An American Musical(Chicago). Off Broadway:Grand Hotel(ENCORES!). National Tours: A Chorus Line, Bring It On: The Musical. Sharrod made his on-camera debut as Damian Maloof in the Indiefilm Happy, Yummy, Chicken. Sharrod has led masterclasses and choreographed for dance studios and esteemed organizations including the Joffrey Ballet School, The Institute of American Musical Theatre, The Grier School, Broadway Connection, and Stage Door Workshops.

Most recently, Sharrod has ventured into screenwriting and producing. The social and political issues of 2020 have led Sharrod to step out and create a new piece. A series that celebrates BIPOC and the LGBTQ experience, through his life experiences and eyes. Sharrod has created, written, Executive Produced, and starred in his very own web-series called NEIGHBORS.

Sharrod’s favorite quote is, “life’s too short to live the same day twice”. Leading with love, striving for progress not perfection–he aims to make the most of everything that comes his way
